The Mindpuzzled Mascot — a friendly puzzle-piece brain — waving hello

The same fight has two personalities in it

You can't take the Assessment for them. You can find out exactly what you bring to it: how you argue, recharge, decide and apologize, trait by trait. Free, about four minutes.

What the Big Five can say about the fight

Your own traits predict your relationship satisfaction more than how well the two of you "match" (Dyrenforth et al. 2010). That's why we start with your side, and why there's no compatibility score here, ever.

People whose partners are higher in Neuroticism, and lower in Agreeableness, Conscientiousness and Extraversion, tend to report less satisfying relationships (Malouff et al. 2010). Agreeableness is the trait behind what you ask for versus what you need. Your two most extreme traits say a lot about the shape of the fight before anyone says a word.

This works for a partner, a sister, a best friend or a boss. "Relationship" isn't only romantic.

What it can't tell you

Not whether you're compatible, never whether it will last, and nothing a therapist would need to tell you. Those aren't Big Five questions. It also can't do their half. With the Journey, you can invite them to take the same four-minute Assessment and you both see Two Profiles side by side; their whole job is those four minutes.
