What you get, and what it costs

  • Free: the twenty-item Assessment, a named Archetype with its own card, and one insight about the two traits that stand out most in your answers. No card number, nothing expires.

  • If you want more: the Journey is a subscription. $14.99 a month, or $7.99 a week, or $49.99 a year. Your full Profile with your five trait scores, and a new Chapter every week with one Daily Action a day. Every price is on one screen before you pay, no trial, cancel anytime.

How the Assessment works

Twenty statements, one per screen, on a five-point scale from "Definitely not me" to "That's so me". Four items per trait. Answers save as you go.

  • A question screen of the Assessment: one statement on a five-point scale
  • A second question screen, part-way through the twenty statements
  • A third question screen, with the progress bar near the end
  • The Archetype card: the Mascot, the Archetype name and its trait chip

Built on the Big Five, the model psychologists use

Openness, Conscientiousness, Extraversion, Agreeableness, Neuroticism: five dials, decades of replication, and scores that predict real things, from how you handle a bad week to which work environments fit you. We say what a twenty-item short form can and can't do on our science page. How the science works →

Five dials, not four letters

Types flip when your mood does; traits don't. If you've taken a four-letter test and gotten a different answer twice, that's the model, not you. See how the two compare →

Questions before you start

Is it actually free?

Yes: the Assessment, your Archetype, and one insight. No card number, nothing expires.

How long does it take?

About four minutes. Twenty questions. You can leave and come back; your place is kept.

Is twenty questions enough?

Enough to place you on five dials reliably. Not enough for clinical precision, and we don't claim it. Longer forms are more precise; twenty is what most people will finish honestly.

Will you sell me something after?

One honest screen, after your Archetype, with the whole price list. You can say no and keep your Archetype.
